When professional athlete and fitness coach Angela Davis took the stage at
Oprah's The Life You Want Weekend, she knew that it was her job to inspire the crowds. She was trying to encourage thousands to believe in themselves and trust that they were already equipped for victory. She used positive affirmations, momentous music and exercises as a part of her presentation. As her parents watched from the audience, they reaffirmed what they always knew about their daughter; she was wholeheartedly dedicated to her assignment to inspire.
If you ask Angela, she will tell you that we have all been assigned to inspire and that we were all created to breathe life. The definition of
inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated, or to do something, especially to do something creative. Angela turns the questions to you. Who inspires you? What inspires you? How are you inspired?
Throughout her
21 Days of Motivation and Movement series, Angela inspires all of us to strive to be the best versions of ourselves by committing to our health and fitness and to our mindset. With her messages and movements, she hopes to help us all find the marriage between the mindset and our physical performance, inspiring us to demonstrate focus. She inspires us to live our dreams and to say yes to the opportunities that lie at our feet.
In today's workout Angela demonstrates a LIFT AND CRUNCH floor exercise, crunching the opposite hand to the opposite foot with the leg moving out to a full extension before crunching in. You will be touching the opposite elbow to the opposite knee.
It's important to focus on your breathing here and think about your ability to inspire. Thirty seconds on each side. Your workout begins when the clock starts.
