Accountability: You Can Account for Your Own Ability

Over the course of the 21 Days of Motivation and Movement series, professional athlete and fitness expert, Angela Davis, will guide you through one workout every day with inspirational messages that are paired with specific movements. As a member of the USA Track and Field Team, Angela was a five-time All-American who held world rankings at the 100-meter race. She also ran track professionally for Nike and was an Olympic Trials semi-finalist and a member of the World Championship team. Through her experiences, she shares her message of accountability, kicking off the tone for the remainder of the series; be accountable.

For many people, having accountability partners, those who account for your abilities, is essential in maintaining and keeping up a workout or a fitness regimen. In this workout, Angela offers herself as your accountability partner.

From a young age, her parents always supported her in her dreams and abilities. They encouraged her to reach high toward her goals and always maintained their support along her journey. But what she also learned was the power of accounting for her own abilities. And here, Angela reminds us to do just that; account to our own abilities and believe we are all destined for greatness.

There is great power in reassigning ourselves to the role of leading lady or leading man of our lives. Once that is established, adding in those accountability partners can help us to bridge the gap between where we are now and where we want to be.
