During this 21 Days of Motivation and Movement series, Angela Davis, professional athlete and fitness evangelist, will inject your spirit with enthusiasm to jumpstart your path to a better you. As she offers motivations before your workout today, she reminds you to be enthusiastic about this day, to be enthusiastic about your life and most of all, to be enthusiastic about the opportunities that are in front of you.

The definition of enthusiasm is intense, eager enjoyment. Throughout Angela's life and her athletic career, she learned fast that by applying enthusiasm to her coaching style it provided significant results both inside and outside of her "classroom." It's "not about how many reps you can do or about how far you can run" but rather it's about the "way that you do all things." The integrity and the enthusiasm that you put into these workouts is the same integrity and enthusiasm that you're going to take into your own life. Make it count.

Enthusiasm has led Angela to many of her own accomplishments as a five-time All-American member of the U.S. track-and-field team holding rankings at the 100-meter race. She also ran track professionally for Nike and was an Olympic Trials semi-finalist and member of the World Championship team. And now, she is at the forefront of a fitness revolution.

When she was tapped by Oprah to be a part of Oprah's The Life You Want Weekend, enthusiasm was at the basis of her performance on stage. As Angela encouraged the crowd with motivational words to inspire thousands to believe in themselves, her energy afforded her the opportunity to move the masses toward change.

For this workout, Angela pairs enthusiasm with a SEATED TRICEP DIP WITH LEG KICKS, adding the kick to show and apply the enthusiasm. The exercise promotes your function and mobility, kicking high and dipping low. When the clock starts, your one-minute workout begins.
