Evelyn Reflects on How Far She's Come as She Turns 40

After a few last minute party prep hiccups, Sha's epic 40th birthday bash for Evelyn is underway and proves to be a rousing success! As the yacht heads for open water, the party-goers revel on the dance floor and make waves in the photo booth.

After giving heartfelt speeches to their friends and family, Ev and Sha find a quiet moment to reflect on their lives and all they've been through together over the last two decades. Sha feels closer to her mother than anyone else in her life, and feels lucky to have her as a best friend. Evelyn contemplates how far she has come since her Basketball Wives days and how, after having Sha at a young age, she and her daughter had the chance to grow up together.

"I have been through a lot in my life. Whether it's toxic relationships, being a teenage mom, it's just—it really molded me into the person that I am today. And I feel like I still have a lot of learning to do," Evelyn says. "You know, I'm not flipping tables anymore. I'm not fighting women. I'm in a different space."
