Evelyn Lozada Gets Devastating News From Her Doctor

A few weeks after finding out she was pregnant with her third child, Evelyn Lozada gets an unexpected phone call while driving to her daughter Shaniece's house. Evelyn had planned to share her exciting news with Shaniece, but instead, she breaks down in tears while relaying what the doctor discovered.

Evelyn's blood test revealed that her hormone levels were dropping instead of going up, which is a sign that something is wrong with the pregnancy. "It's not good," Evelyn says. "[The doctor] was like, 'This is not a good sign,' and most likely I'm going to end up miscarrying the baby. So now I'm just walking around like waiting for it to happen."

Shaniece tries to comfort her mom and encourages her to stay positive, but deep down, she knows there's not much she can do to help. "It's makes me sad that my mom is feeling this way," Shaniece says. "She must feel kind of alone."
