The Best Resource for Parents of Children with Autism

CC
When Holly and Rodney first found out about R.J.'s autism, they weren't equipped as parents to deal with the diagnosis. They felt lost and alone with no one to turn to for help. What they've learned through their own journey is that reaching out to other parents of children with autism can make all the difference.

"One of the best resources are other parents who have gone through it or are going through it," Holly says. "Rodney and I always urge newly diagnosed parents to just talk to other people about their experience. You just don't feel as alone. You get resources, you get tips, and you just have a place to talk to people that understand what you're going through."
