R.J. Admits He Lies About Not Having Autism Because of Online Trolls

R.J. Peete has become a powerful advocate for those with autism, like himself. Lately, however, the 18-year-old has been struggling with his feelings toward his disorder. "I like to tell people I don't have it," R.J. admits to his mother, Holly. "I just want to be a normal guy like everybody else."

In talking with Holly, R.J. reveals the reason for his recent change of heart: cyberbullies. Here, R.J. explains why nasty online comments have been affecting his view of himself, and Holly attempts to comfort her son and offer him some sound advice for navigating the darker recesses of social media.
