Holly and Rodney: Teach Your Sons About Consent

As the parents of three boys, Holly and Rodney feel strongly about teaching their sons the rules of sexual consent before they head to college. "Sometimes alcohol, peer pressure, all those things come into fold," Rodney says. "But you have to be your own person, and I wanted to stress that to the boys: No means no. Always at that back of your mind, think about the consequences."

Here, Holly and Rodney explain why parents must teach their kids to take responsibility in sexual situations, especially in today's culture of heightened peer pressure, and at a time when rape and assault continue to be serious problems on college campuses.
