Curtis Has a Big Surprise for the Family

The Paynes are back...and moving to Florida?

After driving the whole family from Georgia to the Sunshine State in an old RV, Curtis takes a detour from his uncle's funeral to show Calvin and C.J. something special.

"Surprise!" Curtis says.

The men look around a dilapidated house, confused. Why would Curtis take them here? The floors have holes, the walls are battered, and the neighborhood is terrible.

"What are we looking at?" Calvin asks.

"Me and your mama's retirement home," Curtis says. "This is where we're going to live out the rest of our days."

In a house this rickety, those days are probably numbered. Yet, even though leaning against the wall could result in tetanus, Curtis apparently faces an even graver danger: He hasn't told Ella yet.
