Karrueche Tran: "The Man I Loved Hurt Me and Betrayed Me"

Aspiring model and actress Karrueche Tran says that during their tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship, she and R&B singer Chris Brown spoke about starting a family together. Now, just weeks after discovering that Chris is the alleged father of a 9-month-old child by another woman, Karrueche sits down with Iyanla Vanzant to share her side of the story.

"You said that ... you wanted to get married, have children, and he didn't," Iyanla says to Karrueche. "When did you know that?"

"We've spoken about it," Karrueche says. "And, I mean, I've known for maybe a year or so. We talked about having kids, and I've told him we need to get married before."

Although Karrueche says Chris wasn't willing to commit, she still had hope. "Aside from all the betrayal and all that, if we were to continue from here and he were to be good, I can wait some time for him to mature," she says.

Iyanla stops Karrueche. "But he told you that's not what he wanted," Iyanla says. Her words trigger something in Karrueche, who becomes emotional.

"Let's put it this way so we don't make it about him," Iyanla says. "We make it about you. I feel hurt because the man I loved blank."

"Because the man I loved hurt me and betrayed me," Karrueche says.
