Season 1 Episode 103

Tyrese and Rev Run level with the ladies, offering some thought-provoking advice about choosing a man wisely. Rev kicks things off by asking Tyrese to elaborate on one of his tweets: "You can't buy what's not for sale."
Tyrese explains that women often make the mistake of pursuing a man purely because he is wealthy and successful. However, he cautions, it's important to look past the superficial when choosing a partner.
It's the same message he hopes to teach his daughter, Shayla. "You will not base the value in the man based on the car that he's driving," he says, envisioning what he would like her to come to understand. "You know, because there's a great man for you; he might be in a Prius. That might be the best man that you could ever have. So, don't base how you feel about him on the fact that he pulled up in a Rolls-Royce."
Rev Run weighs in with some empowering words of his own, explaining why women should never settle for anything less than they deserve. "Keep your eye on what he's doing, not what he's saying," he says. "Saying to you, 'Come on over.' ... So the 'Netflix and chill,' and then you never meet his parents, and then he's like, 'Oh, this is so nice,' and then basically, you're really being played."
"You're just a smash and dash," Tyrese adds.
"Right. If you're not going out to places with him, and he's not putting you up on a pedestal," Rev Run continues, "then you should start feeling a little weird, and you need to, in my mind, love yourself. ... When you truly love yourself, you take crap from no one."
