The "Miracle" Children Karen Perry Lost in a Devastating Plane Crash

Karen Perry, a pilot and flight attendant, has been grappling with insurmountable grief since losing her three young children in a Thanksgiving eve plane crash in 2011. When filmmaker Jonas Elrod visits her in Arizona to help her explore a path toward healing, she opens up about her little "miracles."

"In many ways, my children were complete miracles," Karen says. "And after 10 years of trying to get pregnant, unable to do so, out of the clear blue sky at the age of 38, all of a sudden I was pregnant."
