A Woman Who Died and Was Brought Back to Life Describes What Heaven Looks Like

Dr. Mary Neal, an orthopedic spine surgeon, says she has been to heaven and back. After drowning in a kayaking accident in 1999, Mary was resuscitated and, remarkably, suffered no brain damage. She describes what she saw when she died and how it changed her forever.

"It was this experience that was different than here," she says. "The senses were different. I mean, the beauty was incredibly intense; there's no other earthly experience that is equivalent."

Mary says she did not see a tunnel of light; rather, she saw something much more expansive. "But I was in a hurry to get to this big, domed structure of sorts," she says. "There were many spirits inside, and when I arrived, they were overjoyed and welcoming me and greeting me and really joyful at my arrival."

Although Mary says she had no intention of leaving, the spiritual beings told her that it wasn't her time. She was returned to her body and reunited with her friends and family.

Ten years later, tragedy struck Mary's family when her eldest son was hit by a car and killed. In the video above, Mary claims she was forewarned of his death on the day she went to heaven.
