When a Superstar Gave Shanice the Greatest Compliment Ever

When renowned singer-songwriter and record producer Babyface asked Shanice to record the demos for Barbra Streisand's upcoming duet album, Shanice was thrilled at the prospect. She sang Barbra's vocals while Babyface recorded the male parts, so Barbra could assess the two-part arrangements. Shanice was blown away by what happened next:

"I was told that [Barbra Streisand] heard it and loved what I did on her songs."

Shanice was overjoyed to be praised by the iconic performer and EGOT winner whom she holds in the highest regard.
