Tracee Ellis Ross: "Perfect Is Not the Goal"

At the ninth annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon, actress Tracee Ellis Ross received the Fierce and Fearless Award and delivered a passionate, earnest acceptance speech in response to the honor. Tracee stressed the importance of being true to one's self and embracing all aspects of one's humanity. "My goal is to make space for my selfhood. All of it. All of me. ... Not just the parts I think other people like, but all of it," Tracee said. "I am committed to bringing human back, by being messy."
