Morning Carrot Cake Smoothie Recipe

Serves 1
1/2 cup chopped carrots (steamed and cooled if you do not have a high-power blender)
1/2 cup chopped sweet potato (steamed and cooled if you do not have a high-power blender)
1/2 cup frozen, sliced banana
1/2 cup kefir
1/2 cup milk of your choice
1/4 cup frozen, diced pineapple
2 Tbsp. walnuts
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch nutmeg
Directions
Place all of the ingredients, except the kefir and milk, into a blender. Add the kefir and milk and turn the blender on, starting with the lowest speed. Slowly increase the speed and maintain the blender on the highest speed until all of the ingredients are smooth, generally 20 to 60 seconds, depending on your blender model.
