Serves 8

  • 9 graham-cracker sheets, each one broken in half to make 18 squares total
  • 9 squares of chocolate (from a 3.5-ounce bar; you'll have 1 square left over)
  • 18 large marshmallows, each cut in half

    Preheat oven to 350°.

In a 9- x 9-inch baking dish, lay 9 of the graham-cracker squares, making three rows of three. Lay 2 cut marshmallow halves on top of each graham cracker, side by side. Place 1 square of chocolate over each pair of marshmallows, then cover with another graham cracker square and 2 more marshmallow halves (cut-side down).

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until chocolate is melted and marshmallows are golden. Let cool slightly and serve warm.
