Best Holiday Tune
"The Christmas Song," by Nat King Cole, is not only a masterful performance; to me it just sounds like the holidays. I've never sung it, because Nat's version is so perfect. I gotta leave it alone.

Best Vice
A while back, I got into the video game Call of Duty—I'd put on the headset, dial into voice chat, and talk to anonymous strangers who were also playing. It got to the point where I was spending way too much time on this. I stopped when my wife threatened me with divorce.

Best Warm-up
I like to jump some rope and swing kettle bells to get my blood pumping. It makes my voice sound better, and it clears my head.

Best Motivator
Knowing there's always room to improve—as a husband, a father, an actor, a musician. I want people to see my show and say, "That's the best show I've ever seen!" And I want my wife to look at me and think, "My husband is awesome!" I'm not there yet—at least, not all the time. But I'm trying.

Best Escape
You know what's funny? I don't ever feel the need to escape. I have a strong marriage. I like my life. You hear about these guys having midlife crises—I don't see that happening to me.

Best City
I live in Connecticut, but eventually I'd like to move back to New Orleans. I grew up there; the pace is a bit slower. Plus, I love crawfish and po'boys.

Best Thrill
My three daughters being born. That was profound. To this day, I look at them and think, "God, who are these people? I can't believe we made them."
