Oprah Show Big Breaks
See which stars got their big breaks right on our stage—where are they now?
In 1990, Leslie Bibb was just 16 years old when she was crowned the winner of Oprah's first nationwide model search.
Now, Leslie is a spokesmodel for Almay and a well-known actress, appearing in films such as The Skulls, Talladega Nights: The Balland of Ricky Bobby and Iron Man.
"I just want to say thank you so much for changing my life," Leslie tells Oprah. "I went to New York, and I've been to Europe modeling, and I'm an actor and I'm living my dream. And it's because of you."

In 1999, The Oprah Show packed up and traveled to the Bahamas, where they hosted a "Sexiest Island Man" contest. Trinidad native Paul Price was named the winner and "King of the Caribbean."
After that show, Paul went on to become a model and booked gigs in New York and Paris. Now, he's set his sights on an acting career.
"I'm at the Yale School of Drama, after which I'm going to start my own theater company and film production company," Paul says. "Thank you for being an inspiration in my life."

In 2004, LaNesha Baca gave a showstopping performance on The Oprah Show and became one of the top three finalists in Oprah's Popstar Challenge.
Six years later, LaNesha is still performing and pursuing her dream. "I sing backup for Stevie Wonder when he's on tour," she says. "I am currently working on my solo album, and it's all because of you."
