Serves 4
Ingredients 1 cup fruit juice or puree
2 cups ice
1 cup rock salt
1 cup water
1 sturdy quart-size zip-top bag
1 sturdy gallon-size zip-top bag
Directions
Pour 1 cup fruit juice or puree into a sturdy quart-size zip-top bag (don't completely fill it; you need room for expansion). Seal tightly. Combine 2 cups ice, 1 cup rock salt, and 1 cup water in a sturdy gallon-size zip-top bag. Insert the smaller bag into the larger bag, taking care not to spill the water mixture. Seal, shake vigorously, then lightly massage the juice inside the ice-water mixture. Repeat for 8 to 10 minutes. Carefully remove the smaller bag, scoop out the frozen dessert, and enjoy!
