3 Variations That Take Cranberry Sauce to the Next Level
Canned cran can be a little lackluster, but with help from Claire Thomas of TheKitchyKitchen.com, the standard stuff can really sing. Just add ingredients to 2 cups of cranberry sauce and cook over medium heat for at least 5 minutes.

Spiced Cranberry Chutney
2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. ground coriander
2 tsp. orange zest
1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
Pinch of cayenne
Strawberry Balsamic Cranberry Sauce 1 cup crushed strawberries
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp. honey
½ tsp. ground black pepper
Salsa Arandano (Mexican Cranberry Sauce) 1 tsp. ancho chili powder
1 tsp. ground New Mexico chili
¼ tsp. ground cumin
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
