We Came, We Pedaled, We Sweated

And one of us (that would be me) nearly passed out. Welcome to the workout that is SoulCycle! The teams from O and CBS were lucky to be coached by Angela Davis, part motivational speaker, part drill sergeant, who let us all know that we were responsible for the energy we brought into the room and that we were "too blessed to be stressed!" We left knowing we'd never had a class like that before.

It's Been Nearly Ten Years...

since Oprah held her Legends Ball to honor a group of remarkable black women she respects and admires. Fresh from the premiere of Selma, she hosted a second Legends Ball to celebrate the movie as well as the men and women who risked their lives in Selma for voting rights. It was quite an event, which you can see for yourself—it was filmed for a special airing January 18 on OWN.
