Dark Girls explores the prejudices that dark-skinned women face throughout the world. The film looks at the roots of classism, racism and the lack of self-esteem within a segment of cultures that span from America to the most remote corners of the globe. From filmmakers Bill Duke and D. Channsin Berry, Dark Girls made its world premiere at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. The DVD will be released September 24, 2013.
