Los Angeles, CA—OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today spring premiere dates for two new original series. The Judds, following legendary mother-daughter duo Naomi and Wynonna Judd on their reunion concert tour, will premiere Sunday, April 10 (9–10 p.m. ET/PT) and Addicted to Food, exploring the rehabilitation of eight patients at the eating disorder treatment center, Shades of Hope, is set to premiere on Tuesday, March 29 (10–11 p.m. ET/PT).

For the first time on television, Judds fans and OWN viewers enter the private and public lives of country music icons, Naomi and Wynonna Judd, on the new docu-series The Judds. Six episodes follow the award winning mother/daughter duo as they hit the road for their first and final concert tour in 10 years. Cameras capture their emotional journey as they work to heal their relationship, reconnect with their fans and share the spotlight once again. Viewers are fully immersed in Naomi and Wynonna's hectic world. They travel city-to-city meeting their loyal fans, head home to their 1,000 acre farm and go behind closed doors for emotional sessions with their long-time life coach Dr. Ted Klontz. The series is a moving exploration of the universal mother-daughter bond. In the end, by sharing their experiences, Naomi and Wynonna hope that others will be inspired to strengthen their own personal connections. The Judds is produced for OWN by Gay Rosenthal Productions, Inc. The executive producers are Gay Rosenthal, Bruce Toms, Kerry Hansen, Naomi Judd and Wynonna Judd.

Addicted to Food is an eight-episode docu-series that follows eating disorder patients at a treatment facility as they work to put the pieces of their lives back together. The facility specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring addictions, along with the multiple underlying abuses that cause food-related issues, whether sexual, drug-related, physical or emotional. Addiction specialist Tennie McCarty, Shades of Hope founder and therapist, works directly with each client to help them face their past so they can take positive steps toward their future. As part of their rehabilitation, clients undertake a series of specific therapeutic challenges to build positive behaviors in an effort to break the cycle of addiction. The series is produced by Tijuana Entertainment. Troy Searer and John Foy serve as executive producers. Annie Price serves as co-executive producer.
