Brandy on Her Tragic Freeway Accident: "That Was One of the Worst Times in My Life"

In December 2006, Grammy award-winning singer and actress Brandy Norwood was involved in a chain-reaction accident on a Los Angeles freeway. One of the drivers, Awatef Aboudihaj, a 38-year-old mother of two, died from her injuries. Following an investigation, no criminal charges were brought against Brandy.
