For eight years, Dr. Oz was a frequent and adored guest on The Oprah Show, but in 2009, he too bid Oprah goodbye to start his own show, The Dr. Oz Show.
Dr. Oz says people ask him for advice all the time. "America asking the questions keeps me real all the time," he says. And through it all, Dr. Oz says the most important thing he's learned is that people need to show up in their lives. "So many of us think we've got to be motivated to act. It's the opposite," he says. "You have to act first, and then you'll be motivated. If you're not on the field, you can't win the game."
