BRONZE STAR
Our favorite way to get radiant this season: Physicians Formula Glow-Boosting Pressed Shimmer Bronzer ($15; drugstores). Its color, texture, and shimmer all meet our exacting standards (not too orange, greasy, chalky, or sparkly). Plus, the packaging is smart. Just unscrew the top to pop out a brush that you swirl over the pressed powder; then flip over the compact to find a mirror. Perfectly brilliant!

SWEET ON VANILLA
For a little noncaloric deliciousness, try the limited edition Bath and Body Works Summer Vanillas body lotions ($12; BathandBodyWorks.com), which come in four tantalizing scents: sweet coconut, juicy berry, energizing lemon, and tangy apricot. White musk, blackberry, yellow jasmine, and strawberry give the lotions an unexpected aromatic twist. Our favorite, lemon, mixes citron, orange, and freesia with purple vanilla orchid; the unique, refreshing blend proves that the commonest scent doesn't have to be, well, so vanilla.

DRY-CLEAN ONLY
Don't have time to get wet? Here are four more reasons to try Tresemmé Fresh Start Waterless Foam Shampoo ($5; drugstores):

1. It's easy to apply. (Gently rub two or three pumps onto hair, pat dry with a towel, and go.)

2. It's a clear foam, so it doesn't need to be brushed out (a bonus if you want to preserve your curls).

3. It contains witch hazel to absorb oil from roots, and aloe vera to keep hair hydrated and shiny.

4. It leaves no residue, so your hair looks squeaky clean and refreshed.
