'Bridge' and 'Bond'

Tamara Mellon, president of Jimmy Choo, is sharing some hot shoes from her 2006 spring line. First up, "Bridge" (left) and "Bond" (right). "I love movies like Troy and Gladiator and that whole Grecian look," says Tamara.

The "Betty," a thong sandal in metallic leather, is one of Tamara's favorites. She and Jimmy Choo Creative Director Sandra Choi were inspired to make the shoe after visiting a traditional market in Goa, India.
'Elika' and 'Entice'

Women love "Elika" (left) and "Entice" (right), wooden slide platform shoes. "My male friends, they don't get it," says Tamara. "Men love four-inch stilettos. But this is more about women dressing for women and it's a really hot look."

"Brook" is a light summer sandal. "You don't have to wear black or brown shoes," Tamara says. "You can really spice [your outfit] up with color."
'Kiki' and 'Orchid'

These two Jimmy Choo boots go with everything! The "Kiki" (left) is trendier, while the "Orchid" is a wardrobe staple that looks great with jeans or suits—a classic that lasts season to season.

The "Yama," rubber-soled weekend boots, are an unexpected look from Jimmy Choo. "I try and cover aspects of everything a woman would need in her life," Tamara says.

Tamara got the idea to create the "Siam," a jeweled suede sandal, after seeing a necklace worn by a legendary Indian princess.

While visiting Jaipur, India, Tamara fell in love with a diamond and emerald necklace, which inspired the design of the "Bellemy" sandal.
'Eliza' and 'Number'

"Eliza" (left) and "Number" (right) are gorgeous jeweled thong sandals. "I loved this so much I couldn't decide whether to put it on a flat or a high heel, so I did both," says Tamara.

The leather "Nimble" is another design inspired by the beauty of India. Tamara got the idea for the sandal after seeing a paisley tablecloth.
