The Live Your Best Life Weekend is a 3-day event celebrating the 10th Anniversary of O, the Oprah Magazine.

When is The Live Your Best Life Weekend?
This 3-day event in New York City will be held from Friday-Sunday, May 7-9, 2010.

Where is the Live Your Best Life Weekend?
Held in New York City, the Live Your Best Life Weekend events will be held in various locations:
Friday Welcome Reception at Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway (@ 36th St), New York, NY 10018
Saturday Lifeshops at Jacob Javits Convention Center, 11th Avenue and 36th Street, New York, NY 10001.
Saturday Night at Radio City Music Hall, 1260 Avenue of the Americas (between 50th St & 51st Streets), New York, NY 10020
Sunday Live Your Best Life Walk, The walk will begin on the scenic Hudson River, at the Intrepid, and will culminate in the heart of New York City, at Times Square

Will Oprah make an appearance at the event?
Yes, Ms. Winfrey will be hosting multiple portions of the weekend's festivities. She will kick off the Saturday Lifeshops event at the Javits Convention Center, host the Saturday evening performance at Radio City Music Hall and lead the Charity Walk. In fact, the top ten fundraisers will get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to walk with Oprah.

How much are tickets, when can I buy them?
Tickets to attend the Live Your Best Life Weekend are $375 plus $13 for tax and service per ticket. Tickets are on sale now.

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets will be available for purchase at Oprah.com/Oturns10 on Monday, March 15 at 12pm EST.

Can I change my selections once I register?
If you have NOT printed your tickets, you will be able to log in and update your profile information, including Friday Welcome Reception time slot, within 15 days from purchase. All changes are subject to availability and Sunday Live Your Best Life Walk details.
**All seminar selections are final, once you finalize your payment.


Registration for the Walk is $30.00 + tax and service charge before April 23rd. After April 23rd, the cost to register is $35.00 + tax and service charge. Additionally, only credit cards are accepted for registration payment.

Please Note: All registration fees are non-refundable.

Will the event be handicap accessible?
Yes, all event spaces have wheelchair access. Inquiries regarding accommodations for wheelchair access, visual or hearing impaired assistance can be directed to Customer Support

Can I bring my baby/child or pet with me to the event?
Weekend ticketholders must be 18 years of age. Persons under the age of 18 are ONLY permitted to attend the Live Your Best Life Walk on Sunday. Pets are not permitted at any events.

Will there be Live Your Best Life events in other cities?

How much does it cost?
Tickets for the Live Your Best Life Weekend cost $375 plus $13 for tax and service per ticket.

What is included in my ticket?
Your Live Your Best Life Weekend registration includes participation at the four weekend events; the Friday Welcome reception, Saturday Lifeshops including seminars with your favorite O Contributors, Saturday evening show at Radio City Music Hall featuring Oprah Winfrey and the Sunday Live Your Best Life Walk. You will receive a special gift at each event and take part in one of the most memorable weekends.

Can I register for individual Live Your Best Life Weekend events?
You have two ticket purchase options. You can select to register for the Live Your Best Life Weekend events including participation at the four weekend events: the Friday Welcome reception, Saturday Lifeshops including seminars with your favorite O Contributors, Saturday evening show at Radio City Music Hall featuring Oprah Winfrey and the Sunday Live Your Best Life Walk. Or you have the option to join our Sunday Live Your Best Life Walk.

How many people can I register at a time?
One person (one payment method) may register up to four attendees. Please note that you will need to include all relevant information for each person you are purchasing tickets for, namely their name and e-mail address. Once provided, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address ONLY. You and your friends will be using the same login and password to access the group profile page and to select all of your seminars.

Can I change my selections once I register?
If you have NOT printed your tickets, you will be able to log in and update your profile information, including Friday Welcome Reception time slot and t-shirt size, subject to availability, prior to April 16th at 5 p.m. EST. **Please note, all seminar selections are final, once you finalize your payment.

**After April 16th 5 p.m. EST, ALL ticketing information is final: this includes ALL personal and event information.

Are there discounts on group tickets?
No.

How long will the online registration process take?
It will take approximately 10 minutes.

Can I sell my ticket to someone?
No, we will not take responsibility for any third party transactions and/or transactions that do not directly go through our website.

If my friend and I do not register together, can we still attend the same Friday Welcome reception time slot and seminars?
Both welcome reception time frames and seminars are available on a first-come first-served basis. As we expect that they will fill up quickly, we encourage you to register together, if possible. We cannot guarantee seats.

What is my $375 being used for?
Your registration fee helps to offset the production costs of the event.

Can I cancel my registration once I've paid?
Yes, we will refund the cost of your registration less a $25 processing fee made by April 9th, 2010 5 p.m. EST.

What if I do not receive email confirmation once registration is complete?
Due to various computer software, security protections may filter out your email confirmation. Please check your email's "spam box" or log-in www.lybl2010.com to review your summary.
Once your purchase is complete, you can log back in at any time to review your ticket summary and receipt.

Can I purchase tickets on site?
No.

Where is the Welcome Reception Event?
The event takes place on Friday, May 7th, 2010 at Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway (@ 36th St), New York, NY 10018. As part of the registration process you will select a window of time to attend this event. Please arrive at your designated time.

How much does it cost to park at the event?
There are a number of parking garages located within walking distance from the varied locations. Please check back soon for a list of discounted garages.

How do I get there?
Please check back soon for our Driving Directions. The closest subway station is the 34th Street and 6th Avenue stop of the N,R,W or F,V trains. For more information on subways and buses, visit the New York City public transit website or please go to the Gotham Hall website.

What time should I arrive?
During your online registration, you will be asked to select one of six timeframes to arrive at the Friday Welcome Reception. Please arrive at your designated timeslot. If you arrive at a timeslot other then your selected time, you may be asked to wait or come back at a different time.

Can I change my selected timeslot?
If you have NOT printed your tickets, you have 15 days after your registration is complete to edit your Friday Welcome Reception time slot, pending availability. Please note, all time slots are on a first-come first-served basis and may be full.
After April 16th 5 p.m. EST, ALL ticketing information is final: this includes ALL personal and event information

Can I have someone else pick up my weekend welcome packet?
No, all registered guests must arrive in person with their PDF print out and personal ID to pick up their materials.

What if I am not able to make it to my timeframe to pick up my welcome packet on Friday?
We will have a customer service area set up on Saturday at the Javits Center for those guests who were not able to attend Friday's event.

Can I bring a friend with me to the Friday Welcome Reception?
All event attendees MUST be weekend ticket holders.

I have registered with a group; can one person pick up our event materials?
Each ticket holder must check in and pick up their own weekend event materials.

Is there an early check-in available?
No, there will not be an early check-in. Please arrive during the time slot you selected when registering for the Live Your Best Life Weekend.

Will I be able to come back into the event once I've left?
No but you are welcome to stay for your entire designated timeframe at the Friday Welcome Reception.

The event takes place on Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, located on 11th Avenue and 36th Street, New York, NY 10001.

What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 8:00am. The program will begin promptly at 9:30am. Seats will be available on a first-come first-served basis for all lifeshops' seminars and Oprah's keynote.

Is there an early check-in available?
No, there will not be an early check-in.

What if I am late?
We highly encourage you to be on time for this event, as you are not going to want to miss any of our speakers! If you are late, we will happily point you in the right direction upon your arrival.

Will I be able to come back into the event once I've left?
Yes. You will be able to enter and exit through the main Event Entrance located on 11th Avenue and 36th Street. Exit and re-entry are permitted through these doors only. For security purposes, all attendees will be subject to a bag check upon entering or re-entering the building.

What is the event attire?
Please dress comfortably and wear something that makes you feel your best! You should also wear comfortable shoes as the Javits Center is a large venue, and you will be walking to/from different rooms for seminars, lunch and you time!

Will Oprah be at the event?
Ms. Winfrey will kick off the day promptly at 9:30am.

Are cameras allowed?
Yes.

Are cell phones allowed?
Yes, but we ask that you please turn them to vibrate or silent so as not to interfere with the speakers.

Are computers allowed?
No computers are permitted at this event. You will be supplied with a journal to take notes in your Friday Welcome Packet, please bring your journal with you on Saturday.

Will there be a coat/bag check?
Yes, however, there will be limited availability. Due to this limited availability, we encourage you to keep your personal items with you throughout the day.

Will the event be handicap accessible?
Yes, all event spaces have wheelchair access. Inquiries regarding accommodations for visual or hearing impaired assistance can be directed to Customer Support.

Will food be served?
Lifeshops attendees will be a provided with a lunch voucher. Breakfast and snacks will be available for purchase.

How long is the Keynote session?
The day will kick of with a 1 hour keynote welcome.

How long is each seminar?
Each of your three (3) seminars will run for 45 minutes each with free time in between.

Are there assigned seats in the classrooms?
No. All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Are the seminars interactive?
The level of interaction will be determined by each speaker.

How many other people are in each O Contributor Seminar?
Each room seats anywhere from 2700-3300 attendees.

Do I have to select the seminars at the time of purchase?
Yes, you will be provided a 10 minute timeframe to select your seminars when purchasing tickets. You will be prompted if you need more time.

Can I change my seminars online once I've chosen them?
No Once you finalize your payment, all seminar selections are final.

If I register for one seminar but change my mind at the event, can I switch?
No. All seminar selections must be made prior to the event day.

I heard Elizabeth Gilbert is attending the Weekend. How does this affect my seminar selection? All attendees will be able to see Elizabeth Gilbert during the Lifeshops "Welcoming Remarks" from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
This will not affect your seminar schedule.

What time should I arrive?
Please do not arrive before 6:30 p.m.; anyone arriving prior to 6:30 p.m. will be asked to come back when doors open.

Is there an early check-in available?
No, please do not arrive before 7pm. If you arrive prior to 7pm, you will be asked to come back when the doors open. All guests will have a seat assignment for Saturday evening based on placement in the registration process. Seat assignment can be found on the registrant's credential and on the physical ticket to Radio City Music Hall. It does not benefit the guest to arrive earlier than 7pm since seating will be pre-assigned.

What if I lose my ticket or it is stolen?
We will have check-in counters where you can cross reference your LYBL weekend credential and then we can reprint a new ticket for you on site. Please provide proper ID.

What if I am late?
We highly encourage you to be on time for this event, as you are not going to want to miss any of the show! If you are late, we will happily point you in the right direction upon your arrival.

Will I be able to come back into the event once I've left?

The Walk takes place rain or shine. O, the Oprah Magazine reserves the right to cancel the Walk in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds.

Please wear your Live Your Best Life Walk t-shirt. We also suggest athletic clothing and comfortable shoes.

Is there a place to store backpacks, strollers and other items during the Walk?
Unfortunately, we will not have storage at the event, additionally; all participants will go through a security screening, upon arrival. Therefore, we highly encourage you to leave bags and personal belongings behind.

Are rollerblades or pets allowed on the course?
Rollerblades and pets are discouraged from participating in this event. Thank you for your cooperation.

Are cameras or cell phones allowed?
Yes, cameras and cell phones are allowed but we ask that you please turn cell phones to vibrate or silent so as not to interfere with weekend activities.

When do I get my Walk Shirt?
Weekend attendees will be receiving their shirts on Saturday at LifeShops. For anyone that for any reason does NOT receive their t-shirt on Saturday, please arrive at the Registration Tents located in the Intrepid Parking Lot between 45th Street and 46th Street on the East side of the West Side Highway, no later than 7:00am.

What time should I arrive?
The Start program will begin promptly at 7:30am, so participants are encouraged to arrive no later than 7:00am to avoid missing the action! Please at the Intrepid (46th Street and the West Side Highway), where you will will be directed by event staff to the Start lineup.

I am a Weekend attendee, how do I sign up for the Walk?
You are already signed up to attend the Walk! Please log-in with your Weekend attendee user name and password at LYBL2010Walk.com and begin fundraising for the charity of your choice.

If you are a ticket holder, but did not purchase your own tickets, please visit LYBL2010Walk.com to create a profile and select "fundraise only."

How much is registration?
Registration for the Walk is $30.00 + tax and service charge. Additionally, only credit cards are accepted for registration payment.

Are there discounts on group tickets?

How much of my registration fee goes toward the 10 charities that are part of the Walk and is the fee tax-deductible?
Your registration fee is used to offset the cost of producing the Walk. So it's really important to get your friends, family and coworkers to support your participation with pledges and donations.

Your registration fee helps defray the costs of producing the Walk and therefore is not tax deductible. All pledge contributions are tax deductible.
