It has been more than two years since the world heard the shocking news of Whitney Houston's sudden death. In the wake of her loss, the Houston family rallied to care for Whitney's only daughter, then-19-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown. At the helm was Patricia Houston, Whitney's sister-in-law, manager and best friend.

From her home in Georgia, Pat opens up about how Whitney's brother, her mother and her 21-year-old daughter are coping. "[Bobbi Kristina] had to endure many, many things, even when her parents were together," Pat says. "I can only continue to be the auntie that I am, and that's try to love her, try to give her the right advice."

In January 2014, Bobbi Kristina made headlines when she announced her marriage to Nick Gordon, a man Whitney raised like a son for more than a decade. Now, Pat reveals why she wasn't happy about Bobbi Kristina's relationship with Nick. "It just didn't sit right with me," she says, "because I always looked at them as being, you know, the brother-and-sister type. I just did not see the relationship moving in that direction."

In the above video, watch as Pat discusses her involvement in Bobbi Kristina's life.
