Season 2 Episode 215
Aired on 11/24/2013 | CC
When a boys' choir made the journey from their home country, Liberia, to a North Carolina church to raise money, they had no idea how their lives were about to change. When one of the churchgoers, Lysa TerKeurst, learned that 12 of the boys from the choir became homeless when their orphanage was destroyed in Liberia's brutal civil war, she decided to adopt two of them, Jackson and Mark. Families in Lysa's community were inspired to join in, and since then, more than 40 children from the same orphanage have been adopted, including all 12 choirboys. How have Jackson and Mark, now in their 20s, adjusted to life with the TerKeursts? It's the update Oprah says she's been waiting to hear!
