Volleyball Pro Kerri Walsh Jennings on Her "Sacred" Friendship With Misty May-Treanor

Professional volleyball champion Kerri Walsh Jennings rode to three Olympic gold medals as part of "the greatest volleyball team of all time." Her on-court partner was Misty May-Treanor.

In the run up to summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Oprah: Where Are They Now? caught up with Kerri to see how she's feeling and discuss her one-time teammate. "Oh man, I can't wait to get to Rio," Kerri tells Oprah: Where Are They Now? "Every single day as it gets closer, I just my butterflies are flying and the excitement is tangible."

She remembers her time with Misty fondly, saying she "is just absolutely sacred to me, and her 10 plus years together were truly magical. From day one, we had a synergy together, and when you have synergy from the start and you put your whole heart into a vision and a dream and you do it together as a unit, that's where the magic happens."
