Season 5 Episode 506
Aired on 05/09/2015 | CC
Throughout the '70s and '80s, Janice Dickinson was one of the most in-demand models in the industry. She worked with the biggest names in fashion and partied with the hottest stars in Hollywood. While living and working in New York City, Janice says she became addicted to drugs and alcohol. "There was free cocaine, there was alcohol everywhere—behind shoots, backstage at fashion shows, in limousines, at Studio 54," she says.

In 2003, in the midst of her struggle with addiction, Janice was tapped to be a judge on the reality TV series America's Next Top Model, which was hosted and produced by Tyra Banks. "When I was hired to do America's Next Top Model, Tyra hired me to be like a female Simon Cowell, to be feeding, in a negative fashion, things about the girls," she says.

After a few seasons, Tyra fired Janice, but despite their differences, Janice says she loved working together. "It was amazing experience. Tyra [is] a tough business woman, and she does great TV," Janice says. "I respect her as a woman."

Over the years, Janice admits that she's said hurtful things about Tyra. Watch as she explains why she acted out. Plus, find out how she got sober.
