How Fame Changed Singer Macy Gray

Macy Gray shot to fame with her hit single "I Try" in 1999. This singer, actress and single mother of three went on to win a Grammy, but she admits that when her career took off, she got lost in the process.

Now, 15 years after she burst onto the scene, Macy reflects on the consequences of fame. "I had a lot of money then, and I had never had money before, so I got indulgent [and] started experimenting with things I hadn't done before," she says. "You have people telling you how great you are, screaming out your name, so your head gets all blown up."
