John Tartaglio grew up with a passion for sports. Then, at age 17, his athletic aspirations were dashed when he lost his legs and part of his arm to a rare muscle-eating bacteria. Doctors said the amputation was so severe that John would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. However, through his determination, John got out of the hospital and into physical therapy, and since his last Oprah Show appearance, he crossed the finish line at the 2009 New York City Marathon, which he calls one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of his life. Watch as John shares how he is today.
