Downtown Julie Brown's Fling with Rocker Billy Idol

While growing up in England, Julie Brown, the host of Club MTV in the '80s and '90s, says she was a huge fan of punk rock, especially music by Billy Idol. Although they traveled in the same circles in England, Julie says she didn't catch Billy's eye until she moved to America.

"After a couple of relationships had fallen flat, I was interviewing Billy Idol one day and I asked him, 'Well, what do you want to do?' and he said, 'Well, you,'" Julie says. "So I called my mum, and I said, 'I think I want to bonk Billy Idol.'"
