When she appeared on The Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2009, cast member Danielle Staub became known as one of reality television's biggest villains, frequently fighting with the other women on the show and seeming to cause a wave of controversy wherever she went. On the table-flipping season finale, Danielle's angry castmates confronted her with issues relating to her troubled past, including allegations of prostitution. In the above video, Danielle sets the record straight.

"I did work as a call girl," Danielle says. "But I was not in the essence that people consider it."

She goes on to describe how she made money in this line of work while never actually having sex with the men who paid her. Watch as Danielle describes her approach to her "dates" and reveals why the men always kept coming back for more. Then, hear Danielle's emotion confession about the time she contemplated suicide.
