Is This Man Candace's Father?

Hanna is heartbroken after reading her late grandson's letter and decides to try to talk sense into Candace one last time. She and Benny drop in on Candace at her hotel room, where they find that she has fallen back into her old ways of inviting men back to her room to make some quick cash.

A man Candace met at the hotel bar knocks on the door, surprised to find that she is not alone. "Oh, I'm sorry," he says. "I have the wrong room."

"No, you have the right room," Candace assures him. She tells the john to stay, even as Benny commands him to leave.

"You should let him go," Hanna says quietly.

Candace is in no mood to receive orders. "And you should get the hell out," she snaps, staring daggers at Hanna.

Candace has her defenses up and is ready for a fight, but nothing can prepare her for what her mother says next. "He's your father," Hanna says.
