Tanisha on Preparing for Her Dad's Release: "It Feels Like Heaven"

At age 7, Tanisha's mother had to explain to her that her father, Sam, had been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison and might never return. However, now that her father is finally coming home, Tanisha can't contain her excitement as she shops for supplies with her mother to welcome him back. "It feels like heaven," she says. "It feels like a whole brick has been lifted off of my shoulder."
