Sam: My Wife Married Me Despite My Prison Sentence

Sam takes his first car ride in 26 years after being released from San Quentin State Prison. As he takes it all in, he reflects on how his wife, Tina, stood by him through it all.

Sam met Tina before he went to prison, and they had a baby girl named Latrice. After the couple decided to get married, Sam was arrested and sentenced to 29 years to life in prison.

"After the sentence, I asked her, 'Are you sure you want to marry me?'" Sam says. "She said, 'I love you now, and I'm going to love you forever,' and she married me."
