Danny Is Too Late

After ignoring his family's phone calls, Danny finds out that his mother has gone into labor. He rushes over to the Love Train Diner but finds out he's too late: Linda has already had the baby, and Danny was nowhere to be found.

Danny isn't the only one upset about him missing his baby sister's birth. Hattie makes sure to give her grandson a piece of her mind.

"Danny, that's your mama," Hattie says. "And she needed you."
