What Draws Tyler Perry to Complex Relationships

Tyler Perry, creator of For Better or Worse, discusses why he loves to include conflict and drama in his characters' relationships.

"What draws me to complex relationships and conflict is the way they're resolved," Tyler says. "So, no matter how big the conflicts, no matter how terrible they may be, I always want the resolution to be one that people can look at and say, 'Hm, maybe I should try that,' or, 'Maybe I should never try that.'"
