Tyler Perry on Striking the Balance Between Serious and Funny

Tyler Perry, creator of For Better or Worse, explains why he adds humor into every storyline, even when the subject is serious.

"I don't know anybody in life who is serious all the time," Tyler says. "If they are, I don't want to be around them. I want to be around people who want to laugh from time to time."

"But, also, there's some drama that creeps in from time to time," he adds.
