If a drink seems like an insubstantial breakfast, this one's for you. When blended with only a little liquid, smoothies are thick enough to spoon, which means you can add healthy—and chewable—toppings, like chopped nuts, seeds, fruit and dark chocolate (just don't go crazy).

Serves 1

Ingredients
  • 1½ cups frozen mango chunks
  • ⅓ cup plain yogurt
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 Tbsp. toasted coconut flakes
  • ¼ cup diced pineapple
  • 1 Tbsp. sunflower seeds

    Directions

    Total time: 10 minutes

In a blender, puree mango chunks, yogurt and water, adding another 1 to 2 Tbsp. water if the mixture seems too thick. (If using fresh mango, add 2 ice cubes to blender.) Pour into a bowl, and top with coconut flakes, pineapple and sunflower seeds.
