  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup fine white cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon old bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk and 1 egg mixed together
  • Green tomatoes
  • Directions
    Slice green tomatoes.

    Dip them in the flour mix, then in the egg/buttermilk mix.
