Terra-cotta Flower Pots
Paint terra-cotta pots white on the outside and silver or gold on the inside. Get creative with polka dots and stripes in silver or gold on the outside of the pot. Once the pot is dry, lay it atop a piece of waxed paper and fill it with your delicious cookies. Then, tie the waxed paper with a silver piece of tinsel or gold ribbon.

Stuff a Stocking
During the holidays, you will find cute holiday stockings in many sizes at your local craft store. For a quick and adorable packaging solution, place your cookies in a plastic bag and gently store them in the stocking. You can make a cute gift tag that shares a special holiday greeting.

Brown Bag Your Cookies
Using brown lunch bags can be fun, great looking and a "green" way to package your cookies. Decorate the bag with painted white polka dots. Once dry, place the cookies in a plastic bag and put it inside the bag. Fold the top of the bag over 3 inches and punch holes through the bag around the lip. Thread ribbons, tinsel or fabric strips through the holes to create an artful and beautiful package.

Recycle and Reuse Milk Glass Vases
I love finding white milk glass at flea markets. I collect these little beauties for 50 cents at flea markets and shops throughout the year. I use them during the holiday to give as a gift, filling them with yummy cookies. Line the cleaned vase with waxed paper and fill with your favorite treats. This gift is great because when the cookies are all gone the beautiful vase will remain as a special reminder of a blossoming friendship.
