As a professional makeup artist, Jennifer Savage has been making other women look and feel beautiful for years. But as a mother and a cancer survivor, she says making herself look and feel beautiful was critical for her well-being and the well-being of her family. "How you look is a reflection of how you feel," Jennifer says.

Jennifer shares with Peter simple things that busy moms or any woman going through a rough patch can do to beautify themselves every day:

Makeup: Keep it simple, Jennifer says. Even out your skin tone with a mineral powder foundation. Add mascara, blush and lip gloss, and you're good to go. "As long as the skin itself looks fresh and even and it has a little color to it and a little brightness, that alone can take all that tiredness right out of your face," she says.

Clothing: Look for easy, functional, practical clothing that you can mix and match, layer and toss in the washing machine, Jennifer says. "You can have your whole wardrobe made out of nice, sexy, loungewear that doesn't look like pajamas," she says.
