Oprah accepts the Elie Wiesel Foundation's Humanitarian Award. Expressing her deepest gratitude, she tells the crowd that despite her many honorary achievements , "It's a really big deal for me to get this honor from Elie Wiesel because it says I'm on the right course. ⦠I'm going to use this honor as a charge to keep moving forward in the pursuit of that which I know to be greatness in service to others." The value of her life, she says, should not be measured by the things she has but by her service to others .
