Brad Refuses to Help an Ailing Alex

After Alex becomes increasingly ill and refuses to take her medicine, her obstetrician turns to Brad, hoping to convince him to help his wife. Brad is still reeling after learning that he is not the father of Alex's baby, and he resents the doctor for interfering in his personal life. Even with Alex's life on the line, Brad is too consumed by anger to reach out to his adulterous wife.
