In the span of just a few short years, Brad James, has gone from US Marine to one of the most recognizable new faces in television and film today. Although widely praised for his comedic role as "Todd" on the hit series, Tyler Perry's For Better Or Worse, Brad has shown himself to be much more than just a comedic actor.
Seen in over 30 commercials and print ads, he has been the face for national brands such as Walmart, AutoTrader.com and Blackberry. For his role as "Osiris," a 300 year old immortal with a mysterious past in Osiris: The Series he was awarded Georgia’s "Best Actor" award at the 2013 Georgia Entertainment Gala.
Through dozens of television and film appearances he has showcased a vast range of characters from action hero, to misunderstood boy-toy, to the diabolical villain.
His latest works has him starring alongside Billy Crystal and Bette Midler in the family comedy Parental Guidance and most recently with Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman as "Carter," a small time cop thrust into a big time situation in Prisoners, due out in theaters September 2013.
Brad attributes much of his success to the opportunities provided by Georgia's booming television and film markets and as co-founder of the Atlanta Television Festival. Brad is working hard to insure others find success as well.
